Today is spent shooting lacquer -- two coats -- and scuff sanding between coats.  Not much to look at and the lacquer mist that hangs in the air is very bad for our camera.  A respirator and face shield are required as lacquer is deadly stuff to breath when liquid and will burn eyes something fierce.

This process takes all day because we have little space to work, so parts must que up and take their turns going over the finishing table. While the lacquer on each set of parts dries, we abandon the building and it's toxic atmosphere.  Luckily today is quite warm for January and we can run some fans to help exchange good air for bad without dropping the inside temperature below lacquer's working threshold.  When we return to do the next set, the air inside is breathable, until we start spraying again.
