Re-Creations

Reproducing something you have seen in our store or portfolio will side-step a lot of the time required to produce a new design. Please look at the Policies page first, then use the link below to tell us the exact title of the piece you are interested in, the wood and finish you prefer, hardware color and style if appropriate and any changes you may want made to the design. Also, be sure to include your address so we can calculate delivery.

Creating a New Design

Producing an accurate cost estimate on a new, custom design can take several hours of our time for we must produce a design sketch, take off a materials list, search out hardware, gather pricing information and crunch the numbers to produce the cost estimate.  Before we do all that you need to read our policy on Commissioning Us for a custom order from the Policies button to the left before requesting your bid so that you will understand the process involved in producing custom furniture.

We are happy to work closely with anyone who is serious, but it isn't fair to our customers who are already waiting for their order to be produced to take all that time away from them if you're just window shopping.  We've built a very informative web site to serve that purpose.  Please take a look at it to explore the style of furniture we produce and our price range.

Details matter. If you can not accurately describe the item you want built we can not build it for you, nor can we quote you an accurate price.  Often, the easiest way to do this is to attach a picture of something similar to what you want and describe how you want it changed.  Use the buttons to the left to explore the basic options we offer for Wood Examples, Stain Colors, Finishes Available, and Hardware Choices.  Each page explains what selections are offered and gives information about each to help you decide which is best for you.  Exploring those pages will familiarize you with the information we need to build a piece of custom furniture.  If you want shipping charges included we must have your full address.
