Glossary:
Partially Assembled

Unlike some furniture sources, when we say "Some Assembly Required" it does NOT mean that you will receive a box of precut boards and a bag of screws.  We prefer to ship our furniture fully assembled whenever possible.  This allows us to utilize the highest quality of joinery to insure the longevity of your furniture.  A properly fitted and glued mortise & tenon joint is far superior to a butt joint with a KD connector in it.

In some cases however, it is prudent to break down large pieces -- a bed or dining table for example -- into smaller components to be assembled on-site.  Not only does this reduce shipping costs, but it makes it possible to get them through a doorway!

However, when we must do this, the number of joints to be completed are kept to a minimum, the piece is designed with this ability in mind, and it is built so that the average homeowner can finish the assembly with common hand tools.  Clear instructions are always included and the parts will be labeled.

You will NOT receive a 'box-o-boards'.
