Step 13 - Wrapping It Up

 Completing the bench means simply reinstalling the hardware and mounting the lid.
 But there is more to this particular project because Bill and Carolyn wanted a matching shelf to go above the bench. It is made with a back panel similar to that of the bench and a flat shelf supported by two arched brackets. All these parts use the same techniques used to make similar parts for the bench.
 In this "Finishing Up" step I mount the wrought iron hooks to the completed shelf and the entire order is ready to ship off to Bill and Carolyn.
